Blue Ridge Parkway (Jeffress Park and Cascade Falls) 4-17-12

At Jeffress Park there was a nice trail that led to what I assumed was a small cascade. To my surprise and delight, the small cascade turned out to be a much nicer waterfall that looked like it was in the middle of a rainforest. There were many varieties of wildflowers and ferns along the trail and the vistas from the top edge of the waterfall were amazing.

I am a novice photographer that loves to shoot outdoor scenes. I prefer waterfalls, wildflowers, and general nature but I also like city shots and historic sites.
