Cummins Falls State Park
Cummins Falls State Park

Cummins Falls is Tennessee”s newest state park. The falls, which are the main attraction here are beautiful. Observing the falls from the top rim and from the overlooks heading up the trail are the easiest unless you want to get wet.

Once you meander around the short, but moderate trails you come to the top rim of Cummins Falls. Here you can enjoy some smaller cascades as they make their way to the “fall” which I might add is HIGH up. The cascades roll over rocks along the Blackburn Fork State Scenic River and drop about seventy five feet to the bottom.

The state park is 211 acres and still fairly primitive as in there are NO FACILITIES. It should be fun watching this park grow.
