What a beautiful night for a kayak float! I joined with the Paddle Adventures Unlimited Meetup group and we “set sail” from Hamilton Creek Sailboat Marina and floated to Luau Island where we sat and watched the gorgeous sunset.
The wind was up some and the water was choppy. The waves were like kayaking in the ocean. Sailboats and motor boats were still out in big numbers for a weekday evening. The float back was choppy and then suddenly it was smooth and we had to exert lots of arm power to get back to the marina.
As a thought—We looked for Venus and managed to not see her. So some of us have promised to set our calendars for this time in 2117 to try and catch her again. 🙂
